Event Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Glasgow Furs events! These terms and conditions specifically apply to your attendance at any event organised by Glasgow Furs. By booking and attending our events, you agree to these Event Terms and Conditions, in addition to our Website Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.
We are dedicated to creating a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone. Please read these terms carefully.

1. Event Eligibility and Age Restriction
All Glasgow Furs events are strictly 18+ only. By booking a ticket and attending, you confirm that you are 18 years of age or older. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove any individual who cannot provide valid proof of age if requested.
2. Event Bookings and Payments
- Tickets must be booked exclusively through our official website. All attendees are required to purchase a ticket before an event, unless otherwise stated that tickets are available at the door.
- You are permitted to purchase multiple tickets using the same payment card. However, it is essential that the ticket holder name accurately reflects the individual for whom each ticket was purchased. Failure to do so may result in rejection of the ticket at the door.
- Tickets are personal to you. Unauthorized resales will always result in the invalidation of the ticket without refund, and entry may be refused. If you wish to request a ticket transfer to another individual due to exceptional circumstances, you must contact our Booking Team via the contact page to request this change.
- Any changes to a booking, including ticket transfers or correcting errors/mistakes, must be completed by the attendee whose payment card was used to purchase the ticket. All booking changes must be finalized at least 48 hours before the event starts.
- For verification of changes or transfers, our Booking Team will require the Booking ID and that you contact them from the email address associated with the original booking.
- When attending an event, you must have your QR code readily available for scanning, or be willing to provide staff at the door with your Booking ID or the email address under which the tickets were booked.
- Payments for tickets are processed securely by Square (our payment provider). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for details on how your payment information is handled.
3. Refund Policy
We aim to be transparent about our refund process. Refunds are generally not offered unless specific conditions are met, as detailed below:

| Request after 48 hours post-event | No refund will be given if more than 48 hours have passed since the event took place. |
4. Event Rules and Code of Conduct
To ensure a positive experience for all attendees, each event will have its own specific rules and a code of conduct, which will be published on the individual event page. By booking and attending, you agree to adhere to these rules.
We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove anyone from an event if their behaviour breaches these rules, disrupts the community, or poses a risk to the safety and enjoyment of others. In such cases, no refund will be issued.
5. Photography and Video at Events
Please be aware that photography and video recording may take place at Glasgow Furs events by official Glasgow Furs photographers/videographers and by other attendees. This media may be used by Glasgow Furs to promote future events, posted on our social media channels (e.g., BlueSky, Telegram, or other channels we may adopt), or featured on our website's gallery page.
If you DO NOT wish to be included in any photography or video footage used for promotional purposes by Glasgow Furs, you must inform our Booking Team in writing via our contact page at least 48 hours before the event. We will then take reasonable steps to ensure you are not prominently featured in any official media.
By attending an event and not informing us of your objection beforehand, you are indicating your consent for Glasgow Furs to use any photographs or video footage where you may be identifiably present for the purposes stated above. You retain the right to withdraw your consent at any time after an event by contacting us via our contact page, specifying the media you wish to be removed, and we will take reasonable steps to facilitate your request.
Please note that Glasgow Furs cannot control photography or video recording by other event attendees for their personal use.
6. Liability and Disclaimer
While we strive to make our events safe and enjoyable for everyone, your attendance is at your own risk.
- Glasgow Furs is not liable for any personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property that occurs during an event, except where such liability is mandated by law.
- Attendees are responsible for their own conduct and for respecting the venues we use. Any additional rules or guidelines set by the venue must be followed.
7. Health and Safety
Attendees are primarily responsible for their own health and safety during events. Glasgow Furs volunteers are not first aid trained; however, we will aim to be accommodating and assist where possible.
- Attendees should make themselves aware of all fire safety notices and emergency exits within the venue upon arrival.
- In the event of an incident requiring evacuation, attendees must make themselves known to a Glasgow Furs volunteer or staff member so they can be accounted for. Attendees must not leave the venue without notifying a volunteer during an evacuation scenario.
- While Glasgow Furs volunteers will provide assistance, the venue's staff are primarily responsible for overall health and safety procedures and emergency responses.
- If you have any special assistance requirements or information relevant to your safety at the event, please inform event staff. To ensure we can make the necessary arrangements to help you fully enjoy an event, please contact our Booking Team via the contact page at least 48 hours before the event. By providing such information, you give your explicit consent for us to process this data solely for the purpose of ensuring your safety and providing assistance during the event. This sensitive information will be handled with the utmost confidentiality and deleted promptly after the event, unless legally required otherwise. In case of a medical emergency, event staff will assist in contacting appropriate emergency services.
8. Changes to Events
We may occasionally need to make changes to event details, including the time, location, or date, due to unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, we will update the relevant event page on our website and, where feasible, notify ticket holders via the email address provided during booking.
