Photography and Upload Policy
This policy is for photographers who upload photos to the Glasgow Furs website. It explains the kind of photos we are most likely to accept, how consent should be handled, and what happens if someone asks for a photo to be removed.

Photo Guidelines
- Photos should ideally focus on fursuits, costumes, performers, or people clearly taking part in the event.
- Please make sure you have consent before taking photos of people.
- Photos of people may not be accepted if it is unclear that they wanted to be photographed. If someone is clearly posing for the photo, that is normally fine.
- Avoid including members of the public, venue staff, or people not connected with the event in the background of your shots.
- We prefer photos taken outside the venue where possible, as this reduces the chance of capturing people who do not want to be included and helps avoid blocking movement inside the venue.
Glasgow Furs may decline, crop, or remove photos if we believe they raise consent, privacy, safety, or quality concerns.
Reporting or Removing a Photo
If you are in a photo on the website and you no longer want it to appear there, or you did not consent to be photographed, please contact us through the contact page and choose Gallery/Photography Enquiries. We will remove the photo.
If you are a photographer and want one of your uploaded photos taken down, please also contact us through the contact page. We can remove it and, where reasonably available, provide you with a copy.
Copyright and Use
Photographers keep the copyright in photos they upload.
By uploading photos to the Glasgow Furs website, you give Glasgow Furs permission to store, display, distribute, crop, resize, and otherwise process those photos as needed for the website to function.
We may also ask to use uploaded photos on Glasgow Furs social media or in promotional material. We will get your consent before using your photos for those purposes.
